Our Backwash hose for swimming pools is uv protected to last many seasons. Hose lies flat for easy roll up when not in use. It has a 1 1/2 inch diameter that attaches easily to a tapered fitting inserted into the backwash port of the filter. The Vinyl thickness is 0. 45 mm. Length of hose is 200 ft. When purchasing, choose a hose longer than you need to allow for shortening as the ends crack over time.

Features	HOW TO CONNECT: This Backwash hose fits a standard 1.5" (38 mm) diameter fitting and is 200 ft long. We recommend using hose clamps (sold separately) for a secure fit. After attaching to your pool filter, roll out the hose making sure there are no kinks or twists then slowly run your pool water through it before adding full water pressure. HOW TO SIZE HOSE NEEDED: The hose inside diameter needs to match the diameter of your filter's waste port or fitting. There are two standard sizes; 1.5" and 2". Measure the distance from your pool filter to your safe drainage spot. Choose a hose longer than you need to allow for shortening when needed. DURABLE: Each standard discharge backwash hose is made with 0.45 mm thick, flexible high quality vinyl that is weather and chemical resistant. Your pool water and chemicals, will not damage this hose, giving you many years of use! This hose is designed for Above Ground and In-Ground swimming pools. Backwashing helps flush out dirt from your swimming pool filter by reversing the water flow. We suggest backwashing until the water begins to run clear through the waste line. A pool backwash hose is also known as a pool discharge or drain hose. It allows you to quickly drain waste water from your pool filter and direct it where you want it to go. EASY STORAGE: Our flexible Lay-Flat discharge backwash hose rolls up flat and compact, so it does not take up a lot of space in your garage or outdoor shed. When flat the hose is 2.36 inches (60 mm) wide.
